Atomic Holiday Bazaar was created in 2006 by Adrien Lucas and Cemantha Crain.  Bored out of their gourds in Sarasota, Florida and wanting to create something that was their very own, AHB was a terrific community success.  With vendors from all over Florida and many others traveling from the U.S., this annual craft show makes for an eclectic and amusing cast of characters.

The DIY craft movement is similar to the original punk rockers.  Creativity and ownership of one's own creativity has been pulled back and taken away from the masses.  We do not like being told what to do and dance to a different drum!  Atomic Holiday Bazaar was created to amuse with an irreverent nod towards the mundane!

Atomic Holiday Bazaar's 2007 show featured DJ's Maynard & Ryan of BeccaMay Events, Nicolaas Kraster & Jon McLaughlin - Flamenco Guitarists & the Atomic Red Carpet Fashion Show featuring Everything but the Girl vintage collection and Atomic Holiday Bazaar apparel designers...oh and the fabulous Bradentucky Bombers - roller derby girls were AHB's welcome wagon passing out the keepsake totes jammed full of swag bag goodie-doms.

Cemantha Crain retired from AHB after the 2007 show to focus on raising her delightful baby girl Iris Jane with her tiki playing husband, Chris.

Adrien Lucas continues to run AHB with a lot of help from her friends and family the day of the show.  She also runs Tuff Betty Bags, her home handbag biz since 1999.
